We are [ ... ] and [ ... ] and we are on school, as you know.
And we start with a personal story. It's about us, in the morning.
Because my morning in one word: TIRED. In the morning, if I try to get out of my bed, I already fall over from tiredness. I crawl out of bed, because being late is not tolerated at Jordan. Not even when I'm so tired. And then when I finally get downstairs half asleep, almost fall down the stairs and ... fall with my head into the yogurt, I'm totally done. Sometimes I just fall asleep with my head in the yogurt!
Well I know the jordan has a first hour off. This I am very positive about. That is because when I have a first hour off, I am usually well awake and then there is a good chance that I will NOT fall asleep with my head in the yogurt. Then I wake up on time and the school day goes much better for me right away. I even notice that when I recently took a test on a day when I had first hour off, it went much better. I got the highest grade right away!
In addition, I also notice that because I am more awake, I am much happier. I enjoy the day more, and if one little thing goes wrong, that I don't immediately throw my book through the classroom.
And actually, I also have the experience of falling asleep quickly during class. So if I were more awake, if I were allowed to get up later, I would no longer fall asleep during class (or in yogurt).
I think it would be much better for students at jordan and beyond, in elementary school and at universities do much better if school started later.
These were all the reasons why we think we should have first hour off every day and no longer want to fall in with our heads in yogurt in the morning. In the future, we want there to be more time to sleep and to rest. We expect that if this is done everyone at Jordan will get higher scores.
And so that we don't fall headfirst into yogurt anymore.
